My right ear was ringing (around 9:15am)... and I had knew that it meant something I just forgot what. So I searched for it and apparently it means different things at different times, which I found interesting... so I figured I'd share.
Ringing in the Ears
11pm – 1am
If there is ringing in your left ear, this means that your girlfriend or loved one is thinking of you. If in the right ear, then you will lose money.
1:01am – 3am
In the left ear, this means you will have a quarrel. In the right, then you will have a more serious dispute.
3:01am – 5am
If there is ringing in the left ear, this means you will lose some money. If the right ear, then you will be rushed off your feet.
5:01am – 7am
In the left ear, this means you will have a feast. If the right ear, then a friend will come to visit.
7:01am – 9am
If in the left ear, this means you will go on a journey. If the right ear, then a friend is on its way.
9:01am – 11am
If there is ringing in the left ear, this means a negative incident may happen. If in the right ear, then all is well (luck is coming).
11:01am – 1pm
In the left ear, this means that you will receive a letter from far away (hmmm…wonder how this would apply in this modern Internet age these days?). If the right ear, then a relative will come to visit.
1:01pm to 3pm
In the left year, this means you will have a drink or a feast (party). If the right ear, this means a friend from far away is coming.
3:01pm to 5pm
In the left ear, this means you are going on a journey. If the right ear, then you can expect a happy event.
5:01pm – 7pm
In the left ear, this means you will lose money. In the right ear, then you are in for good luck.
7:01pm – 9pm

Me and Annie drove up to Albany on Saturday afternoon after making a stop at a wine festival in Goshen, CT. (Which was good. I ended up walking away with two bottles). When we got to Albany, we hadn't eaten. We drove up and down Wolf Rd trying to decide on where to stop to eat. I really didn't want to go to Macaroni Grill but gave in to Annie's request. (shut up). When we got there, we were seated right away. We both got menu's but the "menu" that I recieved didn't have a menu inside. They then replaced the menu. We ordered drinks. I'll admit, they did take a while to get us our drinks but I've experienced worse. We then order our food. We waited. Again, I'll admit it took while to get our food but it wasn't an insanely amount of time. At no point did we wonder, "where are our drinks?" or "where is our food?"... We were still waiting for food, when the manager came over and told us "because you don't have your food yet and it's been a while, one of the entree's is on us". I found that to be awesome. That's never happened to me before and it didn't seem like it was that long of a wait, but I wasn't going to argue with it. Then we get our food. I figured then, well if they're gonna pay for one of the entree's, we'll order desert. We order desert. Again, we didn't get the desert instantly but it wasn't that long of a wait. Then, the waitress tells us that they're going to pay for both entree's and the desert. I thought I misunderstood her. There is no way they'd do that. So I checked the bill (above)... and believe it or not, they didn't charge us for either entree or desert. The only thing they charged us was for the drinks... I still can't figure out WHY they did what they did, but I'll take it. (and yes, I tipped based on the original bill before the reductions and plus some.) So the bill would have been over $50 (including tip)... instead we payed a total of $20 (including tip). Crazy.
Saturday
- Went to Bruegger's in Shelton with Annie
- Went to a winery in Shelton
- Tasted wine
- Ended up buying two bottles before leaving
- On the way back, stopped at Target.
- Bought Wayne's World and Wayne's World 2 on one disc for $7.50
- Got up late
- Annie made chocolate chip pancakes
- Went to the beach with Annie
- Went to Modern Apizza in New Haven after
- Off from work
- Mental Re-charge Day
- Didn't go to the gym
- Thought about what we were going to do with the record cabinet we found in the garbage
- Decided on turning it into a wine cabinet
- Went to Home Depot
- Picked out paint colors and tiles
- Remembered Annie brought up her blender
- Made frozen fruity girly alcoholic drinks
Tuesday
- Off from work again
- Was supposed to do laundry
- Got lazy - Put it off until the following weekend
- Went to New Haven and walked around a little. Stopped in a few stores.
- Didn't go to the gym again - felt guilty
Wednesday
- Worked all day
- Met Annie for lunch
- Said goodbye to Annie - she goes back to LI
- Went to the gym
Thursday
- Worked all day
- Landlord puts AC in bedroom
- Went to the gym
- Realized I should have really did some laundry
- Worked til 1pm
- Drove to LI and didn't hit any traffic for once
- Me and Annie went to Cosi in Plainview for dinner with MOJO
- Stopped at Superstar - bought some beer (Flying Dog and Dogfish Head)
- Me and Annie went to Joe's apartment
- Tried to watch Arrested Development
- Joe's XBOX360 couldn't read the discs
- Mo goes home and dgets her DVD player
- Drank and watched Arrested Development
- Me, Annie and Mo yelled at Joe until he went to his parents house to get games
- Drank and played Monopoly
- Sucked at Monopoly - first to lose
- Regretted being the shoe
- Drove Annie home at 3am
Saturday
- Did some laundry
- Got bagels and went to Annie's house.
- Went to Northport Harbor and ate bagels
- Visited my brother working in Northport
- Went back to Annie's house
- Drew called - suggested Mini Golf in Bayville.
- Got lost getting there TWICE using Drew's directions
- Met Drew and Christine (who also got lost)
- Predicted me and Annie would kick Drew and Christine's asses at Mini Golf
- Played Mini Golf
- Pirates everywhere
- Laughed at Drew for playing like a girl
- Me and Annie kicked Drew and Christine's asses at Mini Golf
- Drew was worried he would get a parking ticket
- He didn't get a ticket
- Got lost leaving Bayville as did Drew and Christine
- Ordered pizza from Umberto's on the way home
- Stopped at the grocery store - picked up some ice cream and iced tea
- Picked up pizza
- Got back to Huntington
- Ate pizza
- Watched some episodes of HIMYM season 1
- Ate ice cream
Sunday
- Picked up bagels
- Did some laundry
- Watched more HIMYM with Annie
- Went in the pool
- Went to Friday's (early dinner)
- Did some more laundry
- Watched Zack and Miri Make A Porno
- Ate ice cream
Monday
- Off from work
- Dropped Annie off at home
- Decided to take Eli (sister's Yorkie) with us
- Eli was terrified the entire time
- Drove back to Huntington
- Did some laundry
- Went to Fireside to get sandwiches
- Discovered I lost my debit card
- Paid with cash
- Annie shows up
- Called Friday's - they have the card
- Picked up card
- Ate sandwiches
- Watched Ratatouille
- Ate ice cream
- Did more laundry
- Packed up car
- Went home - didn't hit that much traffic
Me and Annie went a winery last minute on Saturday. Conveniently, it was only about 20 minutes away from Stratford. We tasted a bunch of different wines and got two wine glasses for a total of $12.00... though we ended up walking away with two different bottles after. I never thought I'd be much of a wine person.
